A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager has become available here at The House of Bruar. We are looking for a driven manager or experienced supervisor with a relevant background who is ready for the next challenge in their career.
The House of Bruar operates a contemporary self service restaurant with high footfall at the gateway to the Highlands near Blair Atholl. It is a stylish, modern and informal restaurant that opens daytime only, serving only the best quality food and produce.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, your role will be to deliver maximum sales and profits by ensuring colleagues are motivated and skilled, ensuring a consistently excellent customer experience. This is a very hands-on role.
Key responsibilities:
  • Recruiting, training and developing the team to achieve their personal best.
  • Leading positively by example.
  • Setting targets with clear standards and time scales.
  • Developing our business by continually seeking opportunities to increase sales, improve service, anticipate changes and plan accordingly.
  • Assisting The Head of The Restaurant in controlling the financial performance of the business, seeking to exceed agreed sales and profit targets and achieving agreed margins.
