MAIL ORDER DEPARTMENT PICKER AND SALES ASSISTANT

A new opportunity has been created to support our ever-growing Mail Order and Retail business.

In the height of our Mail Order season between the months of August to January, stock is picked from our departments at The House of Bruar and transferred to our Ballinluig Warehouse for dispatch. Efficiency and accuracy is key to ensuring that our customers receive their orders.
This rare opportunity allows the successful candidate to work in our Retail Departments outwith the Mail Order season. While working in our Retail Departments you will gain skills and knowledge to provide the best customer service to our visitors. If you enjoy working with luxury products and exclusive brands we would like to hear from you.
                                                 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Mail Order
  • Export reports from our in-house database system, Elucid.
  • Pick stock from the departments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • To follow the Mail Order timetable to assist with meeting deadlines.
  • Use Elucid to investigate stock locations and movements.
  • Dispatch urgent parcels.
     
Retail
  • Welcoming and assisting customers as and when required.
  • Building long term relationships with customers.
  • Daily cleaning tasks.
  • Cashiering, including cash handling, card transactions and processing gift card purchases.
  • Assisting with visual merchandising, including displays, brand ranging and colour stories.
  • Maintaining Retail standards.

  • Can work on own initiative and as part of a larger team.
  • The ability to work accurately and competently in a busy environment.

  • Punctual with excellent time management skills.

Previous experience is not essential as full training will be given; however you must possess a can-do attitude and a genuine interest in delivering excellent service.
