We have a unique opportunity in our Sale Shop Department for an accomplished Manager or experienced Supervisor to continue in the pursuit of excellence in customer service.

With a keen eye for current trends combined with a lasting appreciation for classic rural style, we have put together an extensive collection of men’s and women’s country attire that embodies fine country living at its best, from traditional tweeds to fine cashmere, practical gilets to extravagant eveningwear.

Working with luxury brands and products, our aim is to deliver the best merchandise, textiles and service that Scotland has to offer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organising and managing the day-to-day activities of all aspects of the Department.
  • Managing the individuals, team and tasks of the Department.
  • To continually develop the team by facilitating department training sessions and briefs.
  • Engage the team to ensure they are working to the highest standards and meeting sales targets.
  • Manage all performance management issues, including absence management.
  • To passionately promote and drive Brand Image through extensive product knowledge.
  • Manage the housekeeping of the department.
  • Be responsible for all stock movements by liaising with the buying and warehouse teams.
  • Maintaining our visually inspiring in-store and window displays to reflect the company brand and reputation.

What we’re looking for:
  • Management experience within the retail industry.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • A thorough understanding of product seasonality.
  • Experience of supervising, motivating and leading a team.
  • Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
