Adding shape without restricting movement, this ladies Adini Gingerella smock dress uses fluid viscose crepe with a softly gathered finish.
Cut from 100% viscose crepe, it has a light handle that allows the fabric to fall freely below the bodice. Dense smocking across the upper body draws the fabric in for gentle definition before releasing into a looser skirt, while the round neckline is finished with a short button placket. The contrast between the closely worked smocking and fluid crepe below gives the dress a wonderful texture without adding weight.
An excellent choice for lunches, gallery visits and days spent out and about when an easy dress feels more appealing than separates.

About Viscose
Despite being a modern yarn, viscose, or rayon, has many of the properties of a natural fibre due to its derivation from natural plant cellulose. Using fast-growing renewable woods like eucalyptus, beech, pine and bamboo, viscose is naturally breathable and cooling. Developed originally as a substitute for silk, viscose has a wonderful floaty drape. It also works well blended with natural linen, resulting in cooling garments with a noted draping quality.
