Crafted exclusively on the Isle of Raasay, this single malt whisky is distinguished by its maturation in rare Marsala Vergine DOC casks from Sicily, provided by the esteemed Frazzitta winery. The intriguing combination of peated and unpeated barley gives it a multifaceted character. Bottled at 50.7% ABV, the whisky showcases a mosaic of flavours including grape must and nutty oxidative notes with a light sharpness. Delight in the deep aroma of stewed apples, underlined by hints of maple, pear and a touch of ginger spice. Its finish is elegantly smoky, reminiscent of smoked toffee and dried apricots.
