Southbeach Designs Felted Orkney Sheep

Inspired by Orkney textile traditions, each felted orkney sheep brings a handcrafted touch to shelves, desks and cosy living spaces.

Handmade by a small team in Scotland, each individual sheep combines soft needle-felted wool with felted Fairisle knitted fabric based on Judith Glue's original Orkney designs. Gentle shaping and carefully stitched details give the figure a distinctive personality, while the coordinating wool collar and tiny bell add extra character without overwhelming the simple design. Compact proportions make it easy to display on mantelpieces, bookcases or occasional tables, bringing warmth and texture to smaller corners of the home. Slight variations between pieces reflect the handmade process and add to the individuality of each sheep.
