Offering a casual approach to seasonal layering, this ladies Gant checked wool blend jacket combines a soft wool-rich fabric with a touch of cashmere.
Made from a wool blend with added cashmere, the jacket provides comfortable warmth and a smooth handle that works well across the seasons. Cut in a relaxed fit with softly dropped shoulders, it features a stand collar and branded imitation horn buttons that lend a smart, easy-wearing appearance. Angled welt pockets, a fully lined interior and jacquard logo lining complete the design, while the checked pattern adds interest without overwhelming the look.
Equally at home over knitwear or lighter separates, this jacket is a practical choice for cooler days.

About Cashmere
Sourced from the downy undercoat of Mongolian goats, soft, fine cashmere has been treasured and sought after for clothing since before the advent of written record. In the 19th and early 20th century, Scotland's abundant woollen mills became highly skilled in producing knitwear from this luxurious yarn, making it a global centre for cashmere garments.

About Viscose
Despite being a modern yarn, viscose, or rayon, has many of the properties of a natural fibre due to its derivation from natural plant cellulose. Using fast-growing renewable woods like eucalyptus, beech, pine and bamboo, viscose is naturally breathable and cooling. Developed originally as a substitute for silk, viscose has a wonderful floaty drape. It also works well blended with natural linen, resulting in cooling garments with a noted draping quality.
