After careful consideration, The House of Bruar’s Master Butcher selected the Large British White as the ideal pig for his butchery. Like this classic breed, Bruar's butcher originates from Yorkshire, which gave him a distinct knowledge advantage when searching for the perfect farm to supply his butchery with quality pork.
In the end his hard work paid off, as he found excellent pigs from farms in rural Aberdenshire that are succulent, tender and, indeed, award winning, as only last year The House of Bruar was named the Diamond Champion for its handmade pork sausages at the prestigious Smithfield Butchery Awards.
