Product description
Balvenie Distillery in Dufftown, Banffshire, was founded in 1892. Their whisky making process is dedicated to maintaining their five rare crafts, including growing their own barley and using the original 1929 malting floors, allowing the unique characteristics to be found in their award winning whisky. The Balvenie 30 Year Old is a rare and fine single malt. The Malt Master marries Balvenie aged in traditional oak whisky casks with that aged in European oak sherry casks, to create a rich, mellow aged whisky. Aromas of honey and oaky tones. Notes of rich dark chocolate, hints of plum, marzipan and caramelised pear, and a smooth and finish with spice and a lingering sweetness. Bottled at 47.3% abv.
