About the Artist:
Julia is an Ayrshire artist, who trained at Glasgow School of Art.
In her current work she takes inspiration from the magnificent Scottish Highlands & Islands. With the abundance of mountains, castles, picturesque towns and stunning coastlines there are so many beautiful scenes, it’s easy to see why!
For all her Scottish scenes Julia works mainly in graphite as it allows her to illustrate all the amazing texture and detail that such wonderful subject matter offers.
