Balvenie Distillery in Dufftown, Banffshire, started in 1892. Their whisky making process is dedicated to maintaining their five rare crafts, including growning their own barley and using the original 1929 malting floors, allowing the unique characteristics to be found in their award winning whisky. The Balvenie 12 Year Old American Oak is created by imported Virgin Oak barrels from Kentucky. Filled with Balvenie aged in ex-bourbon barrels. The result is a complex whisky with notes of candied fruit, honey, coconut and delicate vanilla toffee with a rich, malty finish with gentle spices. Aromas of sweet fudge,citurs and oak vanilla. Bottled at 43% abv.
