About Jasper Leadbetter
Jasper Leadbeater is a self-taught artist. Having started his journey with a background in fine art and a passion for drawing at a young age, years of pencil drawing commissions soon followed and became the foundations of what was to come. Curiosity led him to experiment with spent shotgun shells and his acute sense of responsibility protecting our environment to use them as an unusual canvas.
Having refined this unique medium over the years, immersion in the countryside gave inspiration to his first collection of works; combining the traditional country sport of shooting game with a contemporary approach to animal portraiture, creating original pieces using intricately hand-drawn and hand-cut stencils with spray paint. Progress and experimentation has led Jasper to focus his more recent works on the beauty of the fauna of the Highlands. Browse all our
