Growing up on the scenic Island of Orkney, Sheila Fleet soon demonstrated creative talent, following her sister in attending Edinburgh College of Art. Taking up lapidary as a hobby, she decided jewellery design was her passion, graduating in arts and crafts before travelling Europe gaining experience. Returning to Orkney as a fully-fledged designer, she founded Sheila Fleet Jewellery in 1991. Sheila's intricately crafted designs are inspired by the glorious Orkney landscape with its abundance of natural life.
