Filska, originallly a special edition, is bottled at 40% abv. The local Shetland dialect has Nordic and Scottish roots, and Filska means high-spirited and flighty, which was the inspiration for this citrussy, zesty red grapefruit gin. Handcrafted in a 100 litre copper still, botanicals are left overnight before distillation begins. Key botanicals include juniper, coriander, cinnamon, angelica root, orris root and almond. A citrus-led, well-balanced gin with just 8 botanicals, where the aromatic peels and filtered juice are bound together by the warmth of cinnamon and flavour fixative orris root
