Product description
Called ‘Original’ simply because it was the first distilled product from Saxa Vord Distillery. It is the first core gin bottled at 43% abv and was launched in October 2014. The main local botanical is applemint which is grown and harvested in Unst, the most northerly inhabited island in the UK. It contains nine different botanicals including the applemint which gives the gin a delicate freshness. This combines with the cinnamon, coriander and sweet citrus peels to create a well-balanced London Dry Gin with a refreshing hint of mint at the end.
