Katie is a young wildlife and sporting artist based in Norfolk, Liverpool and London. Her charcoals provide striking images that capture the beauty of the animal alone.
Katie’s journey started with acrylic and oil paintings, though now she works mainly in the mediums of charcoal and chalk, using her hands and a dry brush to apply and blend.
Katie believes that art is about capturing a moment in time, an emotion, a movement; a snapshot of this fascinating world and the life we create. Within her work, she believes the subject holds enough beauty that it needs no background to distract our focus and attention.
