Our vintage-inspired men's Edwardian tweed overcoat is a wonderfully smart piece with peaked lapels and distinctive turnback cuffs.

We've taken inspiration from a golden age of tailoring and created a truly classic gentleman's coat in British tweed. Crafted on paddock coat lines, the coat features high-end tipped details in coordinating cloth to buttonholes and pocked edges, along with distinctive peaked lapels. The beautifully crafted turn-back cuffs lift the design even further.

About Tweed

Tweed's humble beginnings reach back to the early 19th century when it was first hand-woven in Scotland as warm, durable work wear for crofters. When the nobility of the British Isles stayed in Scotland they adopted tweed, wearing it on their grand Highland estates, particularly for country sports. With traditional designs including checks, herringbones and barleycorns, tweed has become an icon of British and Scottish style.
