Inspired by early 20th-century fashion, the ladies Dale of Norway Christiania jacket is knitted in skin-soft merino wool with timeless appeal.
A rich display of heritage design, this jacket features traditional Norwegian patterns with refined decorative touches. The roll-up cuffs add character, while flattering side panels create a subtle nod to corset shaping. Named after Christiania - both a historic woman's name and the former title of Norway's capital, Oslo - it reflects a unique cultural legacy. Whether styled as a sophisticated evening layer or worn casually with jeans, the Christiania Jacket bridges tradition and modern polish.

About Merino Wool
Known as the softest of all wools, merino is sourced from merino sheep, a breed which originated in mediaeval Spain. The fineness of wool is measured in microns, with typical thicknesses of 29 to 35 microns. Merino is usually 22 microns thick and can be much finer, explaining its sublimely soft handle. It's also a superb insulator, often used in high-performance layers for outdoor sports.
