Our unisex merino Nordic Fairisle sweater brings the familiar geometry of traditional winter knitwear to an easy crew-neck shape.

Knitted from merino wool, it uses the fibre's natural warmth to provide an insulating layer without unnecessary bulk. Across the body and sleeves, geometric Fairisle bands bring together stylised Christmas trees, reindeer, stars and snowflakes, with ribbing at the neck, cuffs and hem lending a neat finish. About Merino Wool

Known as the softest of all wools, merino is sourced from merino sheep, a breed which originated in mediaeval Spain. The fineness of wool is measured in microns, with typical thicknesses of 29 to 35 microns. Merino is usually 22 microns thick and can be much finer, explaining its sublimely soft handle. It's also a superb insulator, often used in high-performance layers for outdoor sports.
